The film tells the story of an orphan named Tarak Ram (played by Darshan Thoogudeep), the grandson of a wealthy Bengaluru-based businessman (also named Tarak, played by Devaraj). Tarak Ram, who grew up in Europe, is reluctant to visit his grandfather in India despite the latter's repeated requests. While in Europe, he falls in love with Meera (played by Shanvi Srivastava), a kind and selfless woman. Their relationship faces a challenge when Meera gives Tarak a 60-day test to prove his love: he must live without her and not fall for anyone else. Tarak accepts the challenge and returns to India, where he finds himself in a complicated situation when his family arranges his marriage to Sneha (played by Sruthi Hariharan).The emotional climax reveals that Meera had a reason for the challenge: she has cancer and is dying, and she wanted Tarak to be able to move on and find happiness with someone else.
